Letters To My Love

I was listening to something today and this made me stop, listen, and reevaluate the perspectives we hold because of pain and trauma. They always say, “hurt people, hurt people”.

“She really shattered the trust that he had in most everyone.
It’s hard for him not to see dishonesty in all of the people around him and so he finds it over and over again.
But the universe is so cleaver.

When you refuse to learn your lesson
When you refuse to have the boundaries that you need to have
When you start accepting the thing that you were meant not to accept the universe will send you the real thing and you’re going to look for a false positive.
A positive that isn’t there
It could be the love of your life
Someone genuine when you always expect fake
A person who doesn’t care about money when you expect gold diggers
A man who seems like a player but actually has a heart of gold.
You’re going to treat the heart of gold like a player.
You’re going to treat the genuine person like trash.
You’re going to learn the lesson by treating the good thing like the bad thing and that is a much harder way to learn that lesson.”
